1> What is a Personal Phone number?
A Personal Number is an 070x range number, also known as a "Follow Me" number. These numbers are attached to 'you', rather than a geographical location and can be simply programmed to direct calls free of any incoming call charges to any UK, land line or mobile phone. They can also be used to 'shield' your real number and provide privacy for your mobile or home phone numbers
in advertising etc.
2> What costs are involved with a Personal Phone number?
Go-Call's Personal Numbers are completely free of any charges whatsoever to you, the owner.
3> Do I pay anything when someone calls my Personal Phone Number?
No. With our 0700 numbers there is absolutely no cost to you, all the cost involved is on the caller's side - they pay the call charges for calling you from anywhere in the UK which are
set by BT and liable to change without notice.
4> Why are your Personal Numbers Free when other companies charge over £100
We earn a small income from each call you receive, due to our low overheads from only operating online we are able to maintain this free service for our customers
5> How Many Personal Numbers Can I Order?
We do not impose any limits. However we trust that you will use your personal numbers at least for a few minutes each month.,
6> How do I Order my Personal Phone Numbers?
Just click on the 'secure order' tab at the top of the screen, go to the Non Geographical Numbers section and choose your number(s) from the drop down menu
7> When will my Personal Phone Number be Active?
Realistically we will process all orders within 24-48 hours. We do not advise that you print any advertising / promotion / stationery material until your personal phone number is fully setup and active.
8> Will my old number still work?
Yes, all your current telephone number(s) will work just as before. Your new Personal Phone Number is an 'extra' number that is directed to your existing number
9> Can I use a Personal Phone Number for a Fax machine?
Yes, in fact you may find that the use of a 0700 number for your fax line will reduce the number of 'spam' faxes you receive.
10> Can I change my destination number at any time without charge?
Of course, we will be pleased to redirect your Personal Phone Number to your new 'real' number should you change mobile networks or move premises or home. We do not currently charge for changing your redirect.
11> Can I cancel my Personal Number at any time?
Yes. All our Personal Phone Numbers are free from any minimum contract.
12> Can my Personal Phone Number be called from abroad?
Yes, Personal Phone Numbers can called by using +44 70x xxx xxxx. However some smaller international telecom providers do not support the calls to UK's non geographic numbers.
